Los Angeles-based artist "14," a talented illustrator with a wicked sense of humor, cites influences ranging from Mathew Barney to Us Weekly. Her subject? Celebrity in all its hideous, liposuctioned glory. "14" subtitles her gallery "Gossip Fueled Art," and in it she cleverly skewers all the usual suspects -- from casting for the next "Batman" to Donald Trump's hair. Don't miss the "before and after" illustrations of Billy Bob Thornton, the protein-averse "Hollywood Skeleton Girls," and "the Devil and Miss Holmes." We've never really noticed it before, but why is P. Diddy always photographed with his mouth open? How absurd.

Like to dish the dirt on Hollywood? Love to rag on the celebrity du jour? Then head on over to Snarkywood and get downright catty with the "Snark Sisters" as they take on the stars in this no-holds-barred and all-claws-bared site. Amy, Martha, and Lauren aren't really cruel -- they just like to have a little fun slinging barbs and dissecting the deserving with their cutting commentary. Recent entries, accompanied by photos of course, include a look at the ever-tastefully, nearly clothed Paris Hilton, Sarah Jessica Parker's questionable fashion sense, and Christina Aguilera's recent election to Mayor of Hotown. So stop by and join the sibs -- their deliciously fresh trash talk will have you laughing out loud and feeling snarky all day.

Despite protestations to the contrary from industry insiders, gossip really is the lifeblood of Hollywood. While stars and those darn intellectual elites disparage the whisperings, back-stabbings, and blind items leaking from "unknown sources," the rest of us devour gossip rags and ask for a heaping serving of seconds. Here to serve up the dish are the kind folks at the ever-growing Gawker blogging empire. Devoted to Hollywood and its seamy side, this site overflows with tittle-tattle that will leave you laughing at the absurdities in the City of Angels. Filled to the brim with spoilers, celeb sightings, and entertainment chatter, this site is an indispensable bookmark for those who savor scuttlebutt. Jump in and roll around in the oh so delicious dirt!

When sleep proves elusive, many of us turn to the trusty and fusty world of politics to lull us into a comfy slumber. But for others, politics and the discussion of political machinations are an essential lifeblood. Here to inject even more life into the oft-boring world of the Beltway, this site takes on the District in a dishy web-log format. Postings include gossip items from insiders and links to news stories from a variety of sources. Given the current hot 'n' heavy election season, this site should be a daily read to catch up with who's doing what to whom. Presented with just the right snark factor and not taking itself too seriously, it's a destination for those in love with the often seamy political scenes.
